Whatever it is you would rather be doing than working, and we all have something, if you can find a way to do it without getting fired, do it. That may be the key to surviving work life. Now if, for instance, mountain climbing is your one great love, I wouldn’t recommend scaling your cubicle wall. You will get caught, that’s guaranteed, and you may get a trip of the hospital to go along with your pink slip. However, for some of us, our loves are a bit easier to sneak in without being detected. I sneak writing all the time at work, getting paid for my time while doing it, and utilizing company equipment. If you, like me, are a cool ninja rebel, my secrets may serve you well.
