Dismantle My Bed

Though it is the only one that I was stupid enough to self-publish, BTK: Cinderella’s Rebellion, is not the only book I have written. The first novel I wrote was a coming-of-age novel about a popular high school girl’s intense feelings for the most unpopular girl in school. I’m still proud of it. The other novel is my personal attempt to understand the roots of terrorism and bring it down to a human level. I just read the first four chapters again. I should really get it off to a publisher.

I have been avoiding sending my work to publishing companies, because I don’t like the fact that they can force changes to your writing that may or may not be in line with what’s in your soul. But clearly, self-publishing is no way to sell fiction.
