So, have you gotten over your shock that book stores are not the best place to sell books? I know, it is hard to believe. But facts are facts. Or, actually, the sales data is where the facts are at.
Why, I have even sold more books at a yard sale one month than at book stores and Amazon.com combined. And that is just plain crazy.

Yard sales. Yes, that is right - yard sales. They represent a great way to unload some books. I mean, think about it.
You pay around $1.50 to make the book. List it for $3.00 and people will negotiate.
As long as you don’t take less than $1.50 you break even. Just remember to not let them negotiate you down more than that.

If you are publishing books then there is one certainty. You will have to sell on Amazon. And have you ever noticed how Amazon puts titles on sale? Luckily for you, this does not mean less money in your pocket. In fact, you will get whatever you contracted with them. And the sale price will likely just bring in more sales which means more money for you in the end.

So, the historic Amazon Bookstore Coop in Minneapolis is one of the oldest feminist bookstores in the country. And it was scheduled to close June 29 after 38 years. Well, that is no longer the case! It has received an 11th-hour reprieve.
It was announced that editorial consultant Ruta Skujins, “with the help of her partner” Joann Bell, will assume ownership of the 2, 800-square-foot store. This will be effective “by the end of June.”
Currently, the store is being restocked and special orders are being taken.

Woo hoo, Wallace & Gromit!
Just found out something pretty cool. Well, at least if you are a fan of Wallace & Gromit. And I am!
Apparently there is a new one! It will be out at the end of the year. It is only a half hour though. So it will be shown before some movie.
