She may be a reluctant leader, but she is definitely a leader. She doesn’t fully comprehend why people follow her, but she speaks the words they need to hear anyway. She fears little, but it’s not due to belief in herself. It’s only because there is nothing left for her to fear.

With the death of her mother and the cruelty of her stepmother and stepsisters, her dark and painful early life shaped her turtle-like personality… hard on the outside, but, on the inside, so vulnerable.

It’s in her nature to protect, even when she is the one who needs to be protected. So, even those closest to her will never understand her childhood. She shelters them from those hard truths and endures most of her pain alone.

There are hints of what she could have been, without the abuse and criticism. If she’d had an easy way of it, she would be a superhero. She would never believe it about herself, but she very nearly is.

Bleeding Through Kingdoms: Cinderella’s Rebellion is populated by a vast array of characters. Famous fairy tale characters you are sure to recognize, like Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel helm the tale, but they do not work alone. Characters from lesser known fairy tales are sprinkled liberally throughout as well. There are plenty of original characters, and maybe a character (or ten) who isn’t quite what you are used to them being. Character profiles will give you an idea of who each main character is in BTK: Cinderella’s Rebellion. Though there are certainly some inhabitants who defy explanation.
