Almost four years later, books are still selling. The end of this year has seen a large increase in book sales, due to my taking part in some other writing ventures. I’ve also given some books away on my personal site, so even the ones that aren’t selling are moving. So maybe my books didn’t fly from the boxes as I sort of hoped they would. Four years later, and they are still selling a few at a time. Not a bad first venture, I guess.

This will go on the list of things to be thankful for…
Book sales, three years later.
Four on my own site just this week, and another three-book order from Amazon, because they have sold out again.
There is something there in those books. I just wish I could figure out what it is, and why the gestation period is so long. I conceived you years ago. Be born already!
Every time I have to open a new box of books, it makes me giddy. Every time I have to open a new box and it quickly begins depleting, it nearly makes me maniacal. I don’t know what it is, but it’s sexy.

It is no secret that I use unsold boxes of books to make furniture in my apartment.
I have book boxes making a microwave stand. I have book boxes making a platform bed. I have book boxes making two bedside tables. And I have book boxes underneath some shelves to elevate them.
But it looks like there is a new level I could take this to. Real furniture. Like a chair. No really, check out chair made from discarded paperbacks.

Boxes of your unsold books make great furniture. And they make more than just platform beds. They also make great bedside tables. Want your shelves to be higher? Use a few book boxes as a platform! Works like a charm! They also make a great microwave stand!

Guess what? Americans do read! I know, shocking, isn’t it! Well, a recent Harris poll was conducted to see what was at the top of American’s reading lists. If you know Americans, then you will not be surprised by the findings.
Yes, across the board the Bible was #1 on people’s reading lists. Not shocking at all, huh? The fact that Americans still read is more shocking to me!
